Increase in demand leads to new office opening

With an increased demand for its rural professional services, Davidson & Robertson (D&R) is delighted to announce that it will be opening a new office in Ayr.  With an strong client base in Ayrshire, the new local office will allow the firm to continue to deliver an outstanding level of service to existing clients whilst being in a strong position to obtain new client instructions.


Work has begun on the new Ayrshire office already, which is situated within the concourse of the Craig Wilson Ltd Livestock Auction Mart at Whitefordhill, Ayr.  It is anticipated that the new office will be open later this summer.


Derek Bathgate, who runs the Castle Douglas office, will head up the new Ayr office. He will be joined in Ayr by D&R’s newest recruit, Andy Robertson, who started work with the firm this month. Andy comes from a farming background in Ayrshire and has previously worked with RPID for over 10 years and more recently worked for another firm of Land Agents based in Ayr.  Andy specialises in Farm Business Consultancy, including IACS work (completion of Single Application Forms, grant applications, etc.) as well as providing the full range of land agency services.  Whilst the new office is being built, Andy will be working with the Castle Douglas team, but based from his home in Sorn.  It is anticipated that Andy will be joined by other new members of staff when the new office opens.
