Land at Torrance Farm
Blackridge, Bathgate, EH48 3AW
Formerly run as a dairy unit, the land at Torrance Farm extends to 108.84 acres (44.21 ha) or thereby and is split into ploughable pasture capable of taking silage, permanent grass and rough grazing.
As a diary supplying milk to First Milk, excellent husbandry and management of the land has been core to the farm. The land is in good heart and well maintained throughout with a three yearly rotation, deep ploughed with a Timothy and Clover mix which could provide grazing for up to 10 years from each ley. The land is capable of producing two cuts of silage with regular lime and fertiliser applications.
The land is ring fenced and benefits from good field access with double gates.
