Senior promotion for Scottish Land Agent

Kerry Clark Senior Land Agent at Davidson & Robertson

Farmer and Land Agent Kerry Clark has been promoted to Senior Land Agent at Davidson & Robertson, in recognition of her expanding role supporting landowners and occupiers affected by infrastructure projects and her increased level of responsibility across regional infrastructure schemes.

With a lifetime of farming experience, her previous role as NFUS Regional Manager for the Lothians and Borders, and five years at Davidson & Robertson, Kerry Clark is exceptionally well placed to advise and support farmers navigating utility and infrastructure challenges.

Kerry runs her tenanted farm in partnership with her father and husband and has first-hand experience of infrastructure developments, with major utility  infrastructure crossing their land. This practical insight enables her to fully understand the challenges faced by landowners and occupiers impacted by new projects.

Commenting on her promotion, Kerry said: “With both water and gas pipelines, plus electricity pylons and poles crossing our farmland, I can fully relate to the issues farmers face as a result of utility and infrastructure projects. That shared experience makes a real difference when supporting clients whose land is affected by these projects.

“I appreciate the recognition for what I have achieved so far and am delighted to take on this more senior role. Looking ahead, there are a number of major infrastructure projects planned, including the Cross Border Project, the Galashiels to Eccles line, Dunlaw to Gala North, as well as several schemes not yet in the public domain.”

Alasdair Allan, Associate Director at Davidson & Robertson, added: “Kerry demonstrates genuine empathy for our clients and works hard to make what can be a complex process as straightforward as possible. Her farming background allows her to anticipate the challenges and potential pitfalls landowners may face. It is important that we recognise Kerry’s continued professional development and the valuable skills she brings to our growing team. While 2025 was a busy year, the volume of new routes and refurbishment projects means 2026 is shaping up to be even busier, and Kerry will play a key role in supporting our clients through this.”
