Our professional staff have a vast experience in dealing with Landlord and Tenant matters across Scotland and Northern England. Our extensive knowledge of agricultural holdings legislation gives us the ability to advise and assist both Landlord and Tenant clients on a range of matters including:

  • lease options
  • extensions and renewals
  • rent reviews
  • renunciations
  • end of tenancy negotiations (waygoing)
  • tenants amnesty advice
  • ongoing tenancy matters

Senior members of our team play significant roles within this sector. Ian Austin, D&R Director and our Edinburgh Branch Manager, is currently the President of the Scottish Agricultural Arbiters and Valuers Association (SAAVA) an organisation that advises and lobbies Scottish Government on agricultural Landlord and Tenant matters, and our Managing Director, Martin Hall, has previously held this position.  SAAVA has worked alongside NFUS, SLaE, STFA and RICS to assist the Tenant Farming Commissioner in producing his Codes of Practice.

Please give your local Davidson & Robertson office a call to discuss your needs.
