Professional background | After graduating from Heriot-Watt University in International Business and Languages, Kirsty spent some time working in Barcelona before joining Standard Life as a Process Manager where she ran accountancy projects and led the team’s continuous improvement work. We were delighted that Kirsty joined D&R in July 2022 as Risk and Compliance Manager.

Outside of work | Being a shepherd’s granddaughter, Kirsty loves exploring the countryside and local beaches with her family and dog. She loves sewing and usually has a creative project on the go.

Our Edinburgh office houses our headquarters and the Edinburgh branch. D&R was first established in 1891 and moved to the premises at Riccarton Mains in 1992 where we stayed until 2023, moving to Ingliston when we needed larger premises.
