Professional background: Keith originally worked in horticulture, then obtained an HND and travelled around New Zealand and Australia working in hospitality and as a diving instructor. On returning to Scotland, he started forestry life with Forest Enterprise Scotland for just over 2 years in Ross-shire before obtaining a second HND in Inverness. He spent 2 years at Cawdor Estate as assistant forester before moving to Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS) as a forester in Fort William where he remained for 7 years. After being promoted he moved to Galloway to manage Galloway Forest Park with the objective to grow the footfall and establish it as a must-see destination. In 2019 he moved within FCS to Business Support as the Business Manager for south region. In 2022 he had a brief time with The Future Forest Company as the head of Technical Services and UK Site Manager before joining D&R.

Outside of work: When he’s not cutting & splitting firewood or cutting grass his main interests are hill walking, photography and cooking, and spending as much time as he can with his family and partner.
