Professional background: Paul is a Director in our Cockermouth office having joined Davidson and Robertson in November 2021.
He grew up on a family dairy farm in North Cumbria and has hands-on farming experience, he has academic qualifications including: a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture & Land Management and a Masters in Rural Estate Management from the Royal Agricultural College.
Paul became a Chartered Surveyor (RICS) in 2000 and gained a Fellowship of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV) in 2001 he is also a RICS Registered Valuer.
Paul spent a large part of his career managing rural estates in both England and Scotland. Subsequent to this Paul has worked in residential valuation, sales and lettings and more recently in Strategic property management, valuation, and disposal in the public sector.
Outside of work: Paul has two teenage children who are active in sport, so time is limited, but he enjoys activities to keep fit including walking in the Lake District National Park. He occasionally shoots and helps on his brothers-in-law’s dairy farm. He enjoys good food, a good movie, and a good book.
