Farm Resilience Scheme – open now

FARM RESILIENCE SCHEME  |  FARM BUSINESS REVIEW

As you will no doubt be aware there are significant changes on the horizon for farm support in England over the next few years (7 years +). The Farm Resilience Scheme is a DEFRA funded project to allow farmers the chance to review the impacts the changes to farming policy and grant funding is likely to have over the next few years.

As part of D&R’s ongoing partnership with Laurence Gould Partnership (LGP) who are 1 of 15 businesses in England to offer a farm business review under the Farm Resilience Scheme we can offer this to our existing and new Clients.

This initial piece of work will be undertaken free of charge with the grant funding being paid by DEFRA on a first come first served basis.

In addition to the review there will be chance to get practical information on the options for farmers to combat the reduction in the Basic Payments Scheme from 2021 to its cessation in 2028. Case study examples can be provided, which farmers will be able to relate back to their own circumstances. One to one advice will be delivered to around 240 farmers, which will involve assessing their businesses and resulting in an action plan for the future. Farmers may have a range of issues facing them in addition to the loss in BPS.

If you are interested in having this review undertaken, then please let us know at your earliest opportunity as it’s on a first come first served basis.

In the first instance please contact a member of the D&R team on 01900 268633 (asking for Chris Edmunds in the first instance) or via email CE@drrural.co.uk

We look forward to hearing from you, more than happy to discuss in further detail over the phone.
