Davidson & Robertson (D&R), the rural surveyors and consultants with offices across Scotland and Northern England, have strenghtened their Utilities, Energy and Infrastructure team with the appointment of Stuart Lobb as Associate Director.
Stuart joins D&R with some 19 years post qualification experience and is knowledgeable of both the English and Scottish property legal systems having worked throughout the UK. With a multi-disciplinary background in commercial and residential development, asset management and professional services, Stuart joins the D&R Utilities, Energy and Infrastructure team, bringing a wealth of experience in property surveying; he is also a RICS Registered Valuer.
D&R Director and Head of Utilities, Energy and Infrastructure, Ian Austin, said “We are delighted to welcome Stuart to further bolster our senior team. Stuart will be based in our Edinburgh office, offering support throughout Scotland and the North of England, focussing on servicing clients interested in the resurgence of the renewables and energy sector as well as the changes in telecoms legislation. Stuart joins us at a time where D&R are experiencing huge demand for advice to protect and maximise client’s interests in a range of renewable and energy technologies from battery storage and synchronistic condensers to solar and wind farms to EV charging stations along with the associated access and connection requirements.”
Commenting on his appointment Stuart said “D&R are a forward-thinking, progressive firm with a great reputation for being pro-active and professional, so it is exciting to be joining the team. As well as renewables, energy and telecoms, I will be focussing on Planning and Development opportunities for our clients, and I am looking forward to getting out and meeting clients both existing and new. I’d urge anyone interested in finding out how we can maximise their assets to get in touch.”
